Don't Dwell In Your Misery

The Evil Eye

I encountered a situation today on my way to work. I was driving into a parking lot, and this person was leaving the parking lot, and I was trying to get into a parking space. We were side by side as I was pulling in a parking space. They stared me down with these evil eyes, and honked at me and wouldn't leave. It was like they wanted to pick a fight with me. I didn't know what to do. They wouldn't leave. Finally, I lost it after they wouldn't leave and mouthed something in my car and they finally left. I felt pushed to the ground as I saw someone lying on the ground sleeping. It totally put a bitter taste in my mouth to start my day and I wanted to stay stuck in my misery at work.

Words To Live By

Eventually,  I stopped myself and told myself that I need to resort back to my slogan (Learn to Love Life), and pick myself back up, and go on with my day knowing there was nothing resolved and that's ok.

Sometimes, we don't always have control of the situation life throws at us. Just try to move on and live life to the fullest and be as present as possible. Don't dwell on your misery!! If you can't fix the situation -  leave and move on to something else. That's what people have been doing for centuries. It's in our history of mankind. It's ok. Work on what you can change, and remember that life is a journey.
